CAL Colorful Dinosaurs
Are you ready to make your own little prehistoric world? In our newest free CAL you will crochet a mother and kid Stegosaurs alongside a big egg.
The CAL lasts for 3 weeks and starts on Friday, March 15. Below you will find frequently asked questions, such as what materials you need, how a YarnZoo CAL works and how to show the end result! I will keep you updated through email and my Facebook group.

When and how will I receive the pattern?
The CAL starts on Friday March 15, 2024. For 3 weeks, you will receive part of the pattern every Friday.
Tip: also check your advertising box or junk mail. Sometimes the mail ends up there!
What materials do I need?
Below you will find everything that you need to participate in this CAL:
- 3.53 oz Durable Velvet Tomato 318 (red)
- 3.53 oz Durable Velvet Light Yellow 309 (yellow)
- 2.65 oz Scheepjes Catona Apple Green 389 (green)
- 1.76 oz Durable Coral Light Yellow 309 (light yellow)
- 0.71 oz Durable Coral Tomato 318 (dark red)
- 1.76 oz Scheepjes Catona Tangerine 281 (orange)
- 1 pair of 8 mm black round safety eyes
- 1 pair of 15 mm black round safety eyes
- 6.3" high polystyrene egg consisting of 2 parts and hollow inside
- Fiberfill
- Crochet hook 7 (velvet)
- Crochet hook C2 (cotton)
- Yarn needle
Please note that conversions may not be exact depending on the yarn brand and specific weight.
What if I did not receive the pattern?
Don’t panic! You can email info@yarnzoocrochet.com and I will get back to you as soon as possible, but with a maximum of 48 hours. You can do this until Sunday, March 29, 2024.
After this date, the CAL will be available as a purchase pattern in the webshop.
What if I have a question about the pattern?
If you can’t quite figure it out, ask your question in the YarnZoo Facebook group. Here you will find members who love to help you.
Or send an email to info@yarnzoocrochet.com and you will always receive an answer to your question within 48 hours.
What should I do when I finish my pattern?
Share the result with the world!
For example, share a photo on Instagram or Facebook with #yarnzoo or join the Facebook group and share your photo there.
I regularly post photos from members on the website. Maybe your creation will soon be among them?
